About clinical education

Gain the tools you need to teach in a clinical context while enhancing your healthcare practices. Quality and safety are key issues in healthcare education and management. To best equip you for the workplace, our Graduate Diploma of Health Professional Education and our Master of Health Professional Education both include a Quality and Safety in Health Care unit.

Chart your career course

Pick the program that’s right for you. Health professionals who complete the graduate certificate can work in a variety of clinical education roles, including as educators and managers. Diploma graduates will gain knowledge of broader education policies and organisational culture, while master’s graduates can pursue high-level academic research.

Choose to study online

Too busy to come to campus? No problem. Our health professional education courses are offered fully online, so you can better balance your work, study and home commitments.

Lead your way

Complete a leadership unit in the Graduate Diploma of Health Professional Education or the Master of Health Professional Education to gain additional leadership knowledge and skills. This unit is especially useful if you’ve moved quickly into clinical education or a managerial position in your organisation.
